BBC on N73 Real Player

Hi everyone, I am hoping you can be of some help.

I have a new Nokia N73 on 3 and the media player on it is Real Player.

I am trying to use it to listen to BBC Radio stations, which use Real to stream their content. I am able to listen to it on my radio so there most likely isn't a region issue.

Does anyone know if it is possible to listen to it or suggest any alternatives?

Not sure about N73 but on E61 you ...

Go to Gallery, streaming links, New Link. Put in a title and then one of the following:

Radio 1 - working
rtsp://rmlive.bbc.co.uk/bbc-rbs/rmlive/ev7/live24/radio1/live/r1_dsat_g2.ra

Radio 1 xtra - working
rtsp://rmlive.bbc.co.uk/bbc-rbs/rmlive/ev7/live24/1xtra/live/1xtra_dsat_g2.ra

Radio 2 - working
rtsp://rmlive.bbc.co.uk/bbc-rbs/rmlive/ev7/live24/radio2/live/r2_dsat_g2.ra

Radio 3 - working
rtsp://rmlive.bbc.co.uk/bbc-rbs/rmlive/ev7/live24/radio3/live/r3_dsat_g2.ra

Radio 4 - working
rtsp://rmlive.bbc.co.uk/bbc-rbs/rmlive/ev7/live24/radio4/live/r4_dsat_g2.ra


Then save, click in the stream you want and it should open real player, let you choose a connection (wifi or gprs, 3g) and away you go.

That works perfectly. Any idea of the link for Radio Ulster? It may be extremely uncool but us Nordies love it.

Talksport uses WMA and not Real player. Don't think you can get this on the Nokia (but I could be mistaken).
