Car Radio Repairs

Would anyone have an idea where might be able to try and fix a car radio headunit? I have a Ford Sony unit that is out of warranty and Ford want a fortune to fix it by sending it back to Sony. Unit is (was !) worth €600 so don't want to just bin it. Based in Dublin. (not sure if this might be better in electronics forum…
