Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

As with XP, doing the ctrl+alt+delete x2 keystroke takes you from the welcome screen to the classic logon screen...username and password box.

Is there a similar keystroke for Vista? I wish to logon as administrator. I'll state at this stage, I DON'T know the password for the current user so I cant get to the desktop and goto control panel etc etc and change settings.

    TIA

Is only the one user set up? Because I think you need to enable the Admin account to be on the login screen. If its on a domain you can do it remotely

I remember reading alright that administrator has to be enabled, but it didnt specify if its for a particular version of Vista.

I've tried the XP keystroke but it don't work. It's not the end of the world...bit of history attached to this laptop, so I'll prob zap it and reinstall.
