my dad was going to buy a Range Rover a few months ago but decided not to after seeing how unreliable they are.

He went for a test drive in a grand vitara but didnt like it.

He now wants to get a grand jeep cherokee. He had a look at some from the UK and said he would bring one in from there and make it a commercial (he never needs to carry anyone around anyway) to avoid VRT.

He said he would go for the 2.5 TD rather than the 4litre petrol.

Has anyone any experiecne of these?
He needs something big and comfortable as he isnt great mobility wise.

Tell him to buy a Landcruiser.

Get him to have a read of owners reviews on www.carsurvey.org before he makes an expensive decision/mistake.

It seems to be you either get lucky or u dont with these.

Its a lot of luxury for the money, it has to be said. Although they are high maintenance appaently.

He doesnt like the look of the landcruiser, although the pajero may possibly be an option.

    LOL

Hear they're very popular with UK doctors but airport staff aren't very fond of them.

On a serious note, JDPower review and Parkers reviews.
