Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hair dressers with false nails - what do you think?

I think anyone in the beauty industry (unless they are a manichurist (sp?)) has no business having anything that could potentially cause discomfort to a client.

My last three visits to my local hair salon have been ruined by the girl shampooing my hair. I used to enjoy having my hair washed (particularly the head massage part), I don't pay good money to have my scalp (and the last time even my face!) scaped by some idiot who doesn't realise its not a good idea to have false nails near someone' face.

The last time (and I do mean last) I went I plucked up the courage to complain to the manager. She gasped and said 'Oh, I'm sorry about that, your mother told me and I forgot to get someone else to do your hair'

And the salon still had the gall to charge me the full price (€70).

I was really upset and told my mother I'm never going back.
