Engine Rattle

I drive a 96 fiesta zetec, recently i have noticed a rattle from the engine which gets louder when accelerating. I checked it for oil and coolant tonight and both were low, I topped up the oil and the rattle is still there. Does anyone have any ideas what the probelm could be. Engine Performance appears to be ok. My dad…

Engine Performance appears to be ok.

My dad thinks it may be the coolant pump though its not over heating, How much would it be to replace this and could anyone recommend a mechanic in north Dublin.
