I'm disgusted they're putting on Flair's match this early. If it is his last match its a slap inthe face to him for it not to be the main. Hopefully the match itself will do him justice either way. The aftermath is bound to be emotional.

They're putting it on this early to maximise the fan reaction to it. Makes perfect sense. It won't be Flair's last match anyway.

all we can hope now is that the match, and the aftermath, will do him justice

because as far as im concerned vince has done everything he can to screw this up by putting it on now. after the week flair's had and the emotion thats gone with it...the moment we're going to experience during and after this match, however its going to pan out, could've been SO much more imo

I think part of it is because he had most of his title reigns outside of a WWF ring so I think alot of the crowd dont really care enough.

I don't think it's the crowd.
It's the open air arena I think.

Just doesn't hold in the sound just like Ford Field did last year.

That was a really really good dramatic match. The closing moments as HBK looked at the valiant old warrior before him, mouthed "I'm sorry, i love you" at him and then kicked him one last time was immense.

I agree that its the open air that isn't holding the crowd noise as well, you could see the reactions from the fans in the background and they were hugely into it.

he was given a standing ovation as expected.

i take on board the point about the open air but it still seemed muted. its been open air before (most recently safeco field wm19 iirc) and the crowd seemed far louder.

maybe i expected too much. most importantly though i think the match was a fitting end. and though hbk carried a lot of the load, flair played more than his part.

a sweet farewell to THE MAN....

I can't remember the last time I was off my chair for a wrestling match. Crowd seemed ok, but could have been so much better! WrestleMania is over for me now, I'll watch the rest of the show, but it's all an anti-climax now!
