Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Belfast or Geneva??

    Hello all,

    I'm deciding at the moment between Belfast or Geneva to go and settle down for a while, as I have been travelling for a a year and a half and am tiring of it.

    I'm looking to get into sales and marketing, if possible. Seems to be easy enough to find in Belfast but not in Geneva, simply because i don't know the good websites to search on for Geneva, i.e. Gumtree etc...

    Any input/advice/knowledge on both these cities would be MOST welcome as I am having a really hard time deciding! Mostly info on Geneva is what I need at the moment..

    (I'm not mad about the thought of Belfast but the jobs do seem easier to find there, and seem to be more possibilities of working your way up...)

    Also, I find it easier to consult my Private Messages rather than having to find the thread again if whoever might be interested in helping doesn't mind.

    You can just bookmark this thread to find it again. I would guess it gets moved to Abroad or Work or such other forum.

    Did you check http://www.geneva.ch/ ? There is a "Working in Geneva" section. http://www.geneva.ch/f/working_in_geneva.htm

    Also check http://www.jobsabroad.com/Switzerland.cfm

    Try registering with a recruiting agency now in Geneva. Submit your CV and type of job you are after and you will get responses in no time. Friend of mine is there now working. Ill try and find out what sited he used...

    cheers for tha Biko, the Jobs Abroad site only had 1 posting for Geneva but it's still a start, and the other official website too.

    re the CV and recruitment agencies, they seem to be very finance orientated, and to post a CV for Sales doesn't seem viable considering the experience I have in it. need to find somewhere at entry level where I can work my way up.
