On-line Recipe sites

Hi, I often use the internet to look for recipes to make something a bit different for dinner. The problem is, a lot of the sites (such as allrecipes.com) are American and I find that a lot of the recipes are unhealthy and/or use weird processed ingredients you can't get here or i wouldn't use for cooking. I always cook from scratch with fresh meat and vegetables if I can so these recipes aren't useful.

Does anyone have any good websites they use to source recipes that aren't American? I had a quick look in the stickies but didn't see any. Apologies in advance if I missed it!

I always find the BBC's food website a good starting point ...

You can search by up to 3 ingredients too, so it's handy for those end of the week fridge clearing sessions

Im with Alun on the BBC's being the best website, especially when you have an idea what you want or want to use. It's also worked a treat when trying to cook for several fussy eaters at one time (then I found a better solution-don't invite them )

For anyone into Indian cooking I came across a nice looking blog
