    Ok so gearbox in the car busted, left it parked for 3 weeks in a non-payparking area on top of st patricks hill, came back for it and now it's gone. Before i report it stolen, how do i find out if the city council took it, or if it was stolen (gearbox gone so unlikely), or where the hell could it be? I imagine the car was broken into, and had a broken window for a week or two, and the council removed it? Any ideas of where to start searching?

    The compound on the Mallow Road where they tow away cars parked illegally in the City would be a good place, you'll probably have a nice bill waiting if it is them though.

    The guards say its not at any impound and must be stolen, hmmm, have to go and report it after work

    haha i dont know, it's more how rather than who....
    lost 1.5 mx-3 with busted gearbox, dead battery, clifford alarm for if they do try and jump start it, good luck to them.
    I think it had a pliers in it, a blaupunk tape stereo, 5 sealed copies of the same cd, and 1 bald tyre, crap it had a full tank of petrol
