    Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could help me with this. Apparently, we may need to get the stud wall in our ensuite replaced, due to water getting into it through a crack in tiles. Does anyone know if we should call a plumber, a carpenter, or what for this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Well you might need a carpenter, a plumber, a plasterer and a tiler, at worst. However its probably the kind of thing that a handyman-builder could do, if you can find one. Try and get some recommendations from friends. If there are aspects of the job that he can't do, he will probably have contacts who can.

Has the water leak been repaired? This is priority. Afterthat well a good DIYer should be able to help. Removing tiles, underlining plasterboard and stud partitioning are all relatively easy tasks.

Rebuilding stud partition and lining with plasterboard is straightforward.
Fitting new tiles of all the inputs will require the most skill.

On that basis assuming water leak has been repired etc, a tiler is probably what you might seek.
    Good luck
