Was in Tesco this morning and they had the Rock 3 disc for 20 euros, same with Wrestlemania 24,the new Flair 3 disc was 35.

Holy ****, i seen it in HMV for 35 and i was tempted.

Heard it was mediocre, but for that price you really cant complain!

Have never gotten a wrestling DVD before but I'd say the Flair shoot and the new Edge ones will certainly tempt me.

It has nothing to do with age.Tony Hancock was probably the biggest radio and the television star of his generation. Galton & Simpson his writers sure as **** could have written the second half of that Will Smith movie better than those who did thats for sure.

I saw what you did there! ;)
Looks like a pretty sweet listing which i will most likely invest in, however all Todd Grisham segments? I think they'll be all skip skip skip.

I was honestly expecting the traditional response from you in this thread of "I already have all these matches."

Amazing what a weeks banning will do? ;)
Nah, for this i'll make an exception as a lot of the earlier matches i have are sub par quality anyway.

Shame they couldn't have used any of the Benoit matches, particularly the WM16 one with the European up for grabs as well

Never rated that match as high as everyone did. But the one criminal match left out was the Benoit/Jericho ladder match at the 2001 Royal Rumble.

Even at the time it was a bit gimmicky and you knew where it was going after the 1st fall.

That entire Wrestlemania was gimmicky. When the only 1 vs 1 match is the womens match (which had a wrestler as a bloody referee!).

    Utter abortion of a PPV.

Gimmicky but not the worst WrestleMania...

That benoit/jericho ladder match is one of my favs, walls of jericho on top of the ladder and an epic flying chair shot :D

It really stole the show. The title match was boring as hell (Kurt Angle vs HHH), and the Rumble was less than spectacular (although expect KKV and K-N-N to come on and dispute that because of Kane's meaningless elimination after elimination), once you saw that ladder match, everything else was underwhelming.

In fact, Sunday Night Heat prior to that PPV was better than most of the entire show, between E&C's pisstake of D'Von and Bubba Ray, and Lo Down vs Kaientai. They were the most entertaining parts of the entire show other than the Benoit/Jericho ladder match.

going thru all the old videos i had in my shed since i moved 5 years ago i came across a load of wrestling ones
i started taping them off the tv when sky started up
the first survivor series (the best imo), first kotr, a lot of the in your house ones, some wccw, awa and nwa, even found ronnie garvin takin the nwa title from ric flair in a cage, thought i had some stampede but couldnt find any
and i know i have the first time demolition appeared when moondog rex was a member
found a great one called "lords of the ring"
thats my winter organised putting this lot on dvd
and do you know i got an awful lot of slagging from people about wrestling then, i was about 17 when sky started showing the american wrestling (watched it for years on itv with my dad and sister) well i`m heading to the point in april with my 17 year old son so f**k them

Less then spectacular? 3 words can eliminate that point.

    Honky Tonk Man

Because the British wrestling was *soooo real*!
Yeah, i got that as well. 21 years on since i first started watching, and i'm still watching it. Maybe not as religiously, but still watching it.

Speaking of the first Survivor Series btw, what's the hold up with a Survivor Series anthology?! It's their second oldest PPV after Mania! :(

As i said, less than spectacular. A five second squash couldn't save that rumble, and that was pathetic compared to Taka bouncing off the ground the year before.

    Now *that* was spectacular.
