watched mania 22 for no reason last night on dvd, special features are ok chicago crowd was hot and was probably the last decent bell to bell mania. was strange to see people were annoyed with cena even a yr into him been who he is today. was a chicgo crowd so maybe that's why they were so anti cena. also punk did make sure to be centre of attention for most of that entry. felt sorry for booker and dibiase snr watching it back they deserved better than boogeyman and a freak reference respectively. mickie james vs trish reminded me how good diva wrestling used to be (mickie always awesome imo but's she rarely looked better than she did at 22) and hbk v vince still a classic. i will admit to skipping jbl v benoit but good solid card but i can see why vince wanted mania in stadiums soon after it just has a extreme ppv feel

    jeremy borash tweeted the following:

'The UK Sony distribution center which houses and distributes our TNA DVDs in Enfield the has been destroyed by fire in the riots '

The guardian had an article up about how this will affect distributors and it seemed to believe that insurance will cover cost at least but this is still bound to be a big blow to tna especially with massive sales expected for immortal forever?:D(sorry couldn't resist)

Silver Vison was just down the road. They tweeted they are fine thankfully.

Really sad about the Indy music labels possible going bust because of this. They represent some really great artists.

Picked up Rock's DVD in Heaton's too.

Is it true that the nWo DVD is worth quite a bit?

Not a massive bit, have it myself, but its out of print, so like any OOP WWF DVD, it will get more valuable over time.

Quite funny seeing Shawn Michaels making no effort to dress up for the interview.

That isn't an excuse for you not being able to avoid to dress like Steven Regal's 'Man's man' character. :D

Although I thought the same thing, I can't remember Shawn ever dressing smart for any DVD. Unless I'm forgetting one.

+ 1 to this, really loved this DVD. (Well, mp4 file).

As you would expect, around 35 of the 50 moments are from the Attitude Era, definitely worth checking it out.

Good to see a lot of promos being included in the new Austin DVD.

That is the one thing that the DVD from a few years ago lacked.

People online are raging about the match listing (too many of repeat matches and extremely little WCW).

Who'd've thought the ten billionth austin DVD aka useless cash-grab wouldn't be to the hardcore fans' delectation! Don't buy it then! :o

(lol at wrestling fans "raging") :D

is this the observer crowd or other forums too?

    Don't get the complaints either.

If it involves Austin, it will be a enjoyable DVD anyway.

With these multiple DVDs of the same wrestler, do WWE think they have new fans every few years? Do you guys think WWE's casual audience of kids sloughs off every few years and is replaced by new younger fans? (so they wouldn't have been 'sold' an Austin/Rock/Cena etc DVD before)
