Its actually getting worrying now that there hasn't been a potential partner for WWE chosen to produce DVD's.
Do we have any more news on this?
Surely it would be a "cash cow" for any DVD producer that picks it up

I am sure they are waiting until the new year to announce anything. The smart money is on WWE doing it in house apparently anyway.

Enjoyed the Punk doc, one thing that stood out to me is how he looks now in comparison to how he looked when he first started in WWE. He really did look like crap, overweight almost.

Also had to laugh at Miz singing his praises, only for Punk to bemoan the fact that Miz was in the ME at WM. What a wanker. :P

I think the two of them are actually good mates, I read somewhere that punk specifically asked certain people if they would be interviewed for it and didnt just let wwe set up a camera and grab whoever was near.

That's interesting. Considering phonies Cena and HHH are on the DVD. Don't think you can really say no to those lads. Do you guys like the 90s MTV real world white-font graphics? :)

Ah Miz is such a kiss ass i'd say he has soundbites done for nearly every wrestler past or present. He's always popping up in Dvd's with his worthless opinion on a subject.

I don't hate Miz, my brother is a huge fan but he pops up in every dvd now with annoying soundbytes. Him and Morrison hosting the tag team dvd was painful too.

Watched the new nWo doc today.

In a twist as shocking as Hogan's heel turn, Vince Russo is a talking head on the doc.

Was the Doc any good or was it the same as "Back in Black" were they skip over their WCW run in around 5 mins and the rest is their 1 month WWE run?

It was definitely better than Back in Black. There's only roughly 17 seconds of the WWF nWo.

It was pretty good. All Bischoffs interviews are from the Monday Night Wars but Luger, Waltman, Cody and Dusty Rhodes , Nash and Joe Hennig give new interviews

Preview of the upcoming Dynamite Kid project from Highspots. What originally started off as a shoot interview is being developed into a documentary thanks to raising over €15,000.

What former WWE stars are there are still alive and haven't done a longish shoot interview for someone? Outside of the financially secure ones like Batista, Edge and Bradshaw, I mean.
It's been a while since I've taken any interest at all in ones asides from the Regal interview on the art of wrestling.

Don't think Bradshaw would ever go down the route of doing a shoot interview. He tends to just tell you the story when you ask him.

'Cept for the whole soaping himself up in the shower thing. Can't see him commenting on that one anytime soon.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,110 ✭✭✭takamichinoku

Yeah, what I meant was I don't expect to see ones from any of those in the near future.

Watched that NWO documentary, not up to much, about an hour long. Had the usual ten minutes or so at the end talking about how everything went wrong over as many different clips of Jeff Jarrett as they can pack in. I assume Jarrett gets some kind of royalties for that?
