Thought it was average at best. Dreadful battle system that was boring other than for the boss battles, awful fetch quest storyline and a surprisingly mediocre soundtrack from Hitoshi Sakimoto. There are much better games and much better Final Fantasy's.

Can't believe I left Street Fighter 2 off my list.

* Super Mario 3 (it was a massive game, i still don't think i've completed it).

* Zelda: A Link To The Past (had everything a zelda game has, but the music in this was absolutely superb).

* Total Annihilation (Daddy of all RTS games).

* Maniac Mansion (First game i ever completed).

5. Gradius V: The 2D shmup perfected. Absolutely astonishingly good game that I still play at least once every week. Better than Radiant Silvergun since it's more accessible.

jesus! how did i forget that, and yeah i chuck it on every few weeks for a blast, this and ikaruga are shmup heaven
