Watercooling ideas/case swap

hey guys im really board l8ly and got a bit cash to brun from workin

so i was thinking of going back inta the watercooling was looken and i could build a very nice 360mm or 240mm rad setup

ofc it would be a custom set up with probly a apoge or similar,probly a laing pump (look cool) ,round res (dont like T lines),maby gpu cooling or Nb cooling ?

atm i have a Akasa Mirage 62 and im board of it want something with more style (tj07 ) was wondering if anyone would wana trade cases if they are also getting board of theirs

so ideas and anyone wana go trade cases ?

btw anyone selling nice watercooling parts.

this is just an idea might find something else to burn the money on!

Nice, it's always good to have some positive cashflow. Well I've lots of ideas anyway, I'm getting excited just thinking about them here LOL. What kind of budget would you have roughly? I have dual loops in mind:D .

which is a bit expensive for a case ?

Im actually looking to get rid of my setup atm. Case and watercooling. Though i would want some cash to change from a heavilly modded v2000a back to a mirage. Anyway, let me know .

I'd sell you my V1000 and watercooling. Laing DDC2 w/top, 2x MCR220, D-tek Fuzion,Swiftech MCW60, 7/16" tubing, Swiftech Microres.

seriously though, i'd be interested in this as well. What would be the best, no hassle, case and watercooling to go for. I mean what case should I be looking at if I wanted to comfortable fit a triple rad INSIDE the case?

I'd say TJ07, V2000, G70 would be top of the list.

Id have to say a v2000a, you could easilly fit 2 tripple rads in the bottom, and pump with plenty of room to spare.

Here is what mine looks like now, after cable tidying and adding the lighting in a fixex posisition.

Really nice setups guys, I hope to try my hand at watercooling sometime soon and it's nice to see some top jobs like these. Always been a fan of the V1000 ever since my first glimpse at custom building was a corsair system build guide.

Great finish and looks a blast to work with, also a fan of that inverted pseudo-BTX style.

New or from me? I'd sell the Fuzion anyway, I want to try out an Apogee GTX, maybe go dual loops with an MCR320 for the CPU. I could fit it in the V1000 but it would be damn tight, but all the more fun that way.

Hmm, I don't know really, the Fuzion is ~60 new, and a true DDC2 is a rare commodity these days. I paid $100US for it, what would you be willing to pay?

then i look and i see a V2000 for 200E

and then a g70b for 170e

so what do ye reccomend ?

V2000 has more room and if you check out vadim.co.uk you can see the triple and dual rad they fit into the bottom compartment, but in saying that the Tj07 is a great case:)

You can actually fit 2 tripple rands and 2 doubles in the bottom of the v2000. I bet you could squeeze in a extra few single rads too. As long as they are low profile ones.

If i get some money i might buy one a go crazy but two triples would probably be overkill but i'm still thinking of investing in a chiller/phase change unit but i was thinking of getting a custom one a don't know what case to get it made for

I have seen a phase change unit inside a v2000 before, but the whole internals were ripped out. only one dvd drive and 2 raptors. Im thinking of modding mine at the moment, by putting the tripple rad standing up in the front, and using the bottom for the hdds again. Would make the case look a fair bit tidier and provide good airflow to the rest of the case.

you can fit a compressure unit into the bottom of a v2000 have seen it done a few times

heck if i went down to our store room i would enough parts to build 100000 phase units

I'm not sure if I'll sell anyway, I might try and sell the whole rig... maybe. What would you say would be reasonable for it? IMO go for the V2000 if you're torn and I don't thinl you'll get a better price than caseking(saw your thread at XS)

Pics don't do justice to the V series, IMO they're really nice when you see them in person. I'll prob go with a V2000 + Pa120.3 + MCR220 dual loops with the PA on the CPU. OT but what would you say the whole rig is worth? I already posted in the thread "How much is my computer worth?" but no dice.
