X1950XT for less than 150 yoyos?

We all know DX10 support is worthless as even an 8800GTX Ultra can't push games utilising the new feature set along any faster than a crawl, so any midrange DX10 card is a waste of space.

    Thoughts?

kinda jumping on the hype their Inq, i'd wait until we have a few more games that are optimized for DX10 released before making that assumption.

Regardless of how the 8800GTX/Ultra perform with DX10 patched games, they are still a lot better than the best that DX9 has to offer.

X1950XT comes cloes if not beats the 8800GTS 320mb in some tests.

Good card it you don't intend having Vista over the next while.

one of the probelms with dx10 is the ****en drivers.

wait a few months until we can see what the 8800gtx can really do.
