Sony S Series Bravia problem?

    No digital menu seems to exsist on my set. It has a built in dvb tuner, and I cant get the menu up at all, tried a friends and his works fine? :confused:

    model number: kdl 26s2010 sony site no help, nor where people I asked in sony centre.

    Did you try his remote with your TV and vice versa just in case something is wrong with it ?

    When you press digital on the remote instead of the EPG button try pressing any of the coloured buttons maybe something was set wrong.

    What about the menu button on the front of the TV set does that bring up digital as an option ?

    tried pressing menu on the remote, tv itself, and the digital button, no option at all. And when I press digital button on the remote, the ir sensor on the set flashes (so it knows I am pressing it) but nothing happens.

    Well unless it's some unknown derivative of the model minus the DVB-T tuner then it sounds like the set is defective or some(one/thing) forgot to install the DVB component during manufacture.

    Return it to Sony & get them to take a look or replace it is about the only thing you can do as far as I can see.

    Try going into menu, Set-up, Auto start up, and try retuning the tv into the Uk as opposed to Ireland! If that doesn't work then you have a problem and take it back to where you bought it with your reciept!
