Is there any point in having a Boxster if you're going to drive it that gently? ;-)

Anyone care to explain how I'd measure MGP ?:D

look at the number of litres you put in say
    30 litres
divide it by 4.56 and that the amt of gallons you put in

    30 /4.56 = 6.57 gallons

if you did 300 miles on this
    300/ 6.57 = 45 Mpg

    Merc S320 LWB

around town anywhere from 8mpg to 17mpg (avg 17)

on a trip home from Rathoath yesterday got 35mpg most of the way.

You can choose to drive your car like an undertaker and save shedloads but where's the fun in that.

between 7 and 9 in town and 22 to 24 on a long run.

Averages around 19 to 20 to a tank.

I think he was trying to be sarcastic (note the "Big Grin" smiley) about the use of the term MGP instead of MPG, and was asking how he could measure MGP :)
