Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Speeding up S60

I have a Nokia N80 with Symbian S60 on it, but I find it to be a bit of a slow OS at times, especially when sending texts.

Basically once I hit send it tends to freeze either on the sending screen or on the message itself for close to a minute - it doesn't seem to matter how long or short the text is.

I've deleted any unwanted files (pics, audio etc.) and texts but it hasn't made any difference - anyone know if there's a particular trick to speeding the OS up?

Master Reset or updating the firmware.

Nokia have an .sis file on their site somewhere called "SMS Accelerator".

Make sure you have the latest firmware for the phone installed. You can use the Nokia update utility to check this and upgrade it automatically.

I found this under Nokia apps in the catalogs link on my Symbian phone.
