Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Second hand 360 still covered?

A friend of mine was considering picking up a second hand 360 this weekend but after I told him about my (and everyone else's) problems with it, he was sort of turned off getting one. Not just in case it breaks, but more just in case it breaks and because he wasn't the original owner, he'd have no comeback with MS. I told him that the 3 year warranty was presumably from the date of mfr which MS can tell from the serial number, and all he'll have to do is get them to change the address if it has been registered, but he was worried that they wouldn't change it or something and his fixed 360 would end up back in the hands of the guy who sold it to Game in the first place!

I had no real answer for this level of paranoia, but has anybody had to return a second hand 360 to MS for the 3 rings of death problem and it's all worked smoothly for them?

Yeah,I think so, but my own 360 crapped out 13 months to the day after buying it, so....

a year warranty with GAME. But every 360 is covered for 3 years, I don't think it being 2nd hand can affect this. You're mate should be grand.
