Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Earrings for sensitive ears?

I got my ears pierced a while ago and they got infected so the doctor had to remove one of them, I removed the 2nd one because I didn't want the same thing to happen. (all this despite the fact that I cleaned them properly twice a day) I might have a nickel allergy. Anyway my friend told me I need pure metal? Any earring shops that are recommended?

I've an earring related problem also. My ears aren't pierced (well actually they kind of are, cause my Mam made me get them pierced for my birthday when I was thirteen or fourteen but I hated them so I took them out soon after and they're pretty much closed up now). That's all slightly irrelevant anyway. What I'm wondering is do clip-on type earrings still exist and have I any chance of finding a goldy coloured dangly pair anywhere? Preferably in Cork....

Yea, you're def allergic to nickel. Same thing happened to me. Most chemists have nickel free studs. Claire's Accessories n most places like that don't stock nickel free range afaik. I get lovely (and very cheap) bead ones in a lil shop in Temple Bar opposite Eamon Dorans. If you're into that sort of thing you should check it out.

yr allergic to nickel, same as myself.. ALWAYS clean yr earings after using them with solution, it can b annoying but it's better than getting huge ears.. i use earings especially for sensitive ears, they r bout 3-5 euro and the brand is called "senitive ears" :)
