    They are from U.K. and opening new factory in Gort.

    Used be Intermed precision and were bought over by Viasys last year. Used be in Oranmore, moved to Gort four years ago. They are a metalwork based medical device manufacturing company and have mostly high precision toolmakers working milling, grinding, wire EDM and laser marking equipment.

    Worked for Intermed (in Oranmore and later Gort). After Viasys acquired Intermed they practically ran out of business. Ther was only 1 (!) machinist left on the floor. I don't know what kinda work they found later but for a long time there was nothing going on really. Pretty strange because we thought with Viasys we would actually get MORE work!
