Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Has anyone ever been to a Career Guidance councellor? Does anyone know one that deals with Adults as well as Leaving Cert Students? Where would you look to Find one?
    Thank You

You might look at the people who brand themselves as life coaches.

Alternatively find the career guidance people in colleges or FAS and either ask them directly or ask can they recommend someone.

you might get a better response if you posted this on

    boards.ie > biz > personal > work & jobs

Lots of people on there seem to know a thing or two about careers

What kind of advice are you looking for? Are you already qualified but wondering what direction to take/looking for a career change? Or are you looking to study as a mature student?

I don't think a secondary level careers counsellor would be much use to you. Maybe a third level careers advisor. Or how about FAS? Or your local citizen's information centre? It depends what you're after really.

Many of the VECs now have Adult Guidance Services ... and as far as I know they don't charge.

    Ah found it ... here

I dropped out of UCD a couple of years ago, I'm not sure if I want to get back into Education. I feel lost and need some career guidance to even point me in the Right Direction.
