    Hi
I just got myself a secondhand car and I am spending way too much money in car parks...
Do you know any streets where I can park for free in Dublin city centre ?
    Thanks

This won't be of much help but I doubt there are many free spots left in dublin, and it's unlikely that someone is going to spill the beans on where they are.

Plenty on north side, feck all on south side.
On north side up by summerhill (just after parnell street). Its a little dodgy but never had a problem.
Around mountjoy square has some free parking too.

Southside there is nothing i know of without going across the canal.

Not sure about midweek but on nice Saturdays, I always park in an around Rathgar / Rathmines and stroll into town from there.

It is good to know that not all Dubliners are like melekalikimaka.

On the southside and in the canals you've got St. Vincents St. just off Clanbrasil St. There's room for about 8 cars and it's 24 hour, 7 days a week.
That Summerhill strip is handy but you've gotta be shifted by 4.
