Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

Does anyone know why the option to send to a compressed (zip) file would be missing from the menu ? When you right click on a folder, select send to and the option is not there anymore.

I have to ask but are you sure that WinZip is still installed?

No, its the XP built in compressing tool ... not WINZIP.

    Hey All,

Sorry but i found the Answer and for anyone interested here it is,

To disable the Compressed (ZIP) Folder feature:

    1. Click on Start -> Run.
    2. Enter the following command in the Run text box:

    regsvr32 /u %windir%\system32\zipfldr.dll

    3. Restart the Windows for the change to be effective.

To enable Compressed (ZIP) Folder support in Windows:

    1. Click on Start -> Run.
    2. Enter the following command in the Run text box (same command with above, except without the /u switch):

    regsvr32 %windir%\system32\zipfldr.dll

    3. Restart the Windows for change to take effect.
