Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

VFC Scars are back in stock.
Not as many as I ordered, and all black.

After all the pre-orders have been filled there are 3 left.

Its not that I don't want to stock it, its getting it downgraded is the problem.
Its very hard to find a supplier that will downgrade new-release items - I usually have to wait a few weeks. Something to do with their production runs.

The Kalash AK74 arrived yesterday Shiva thanks,
The KAR98 even though it was posted the same time has not arrived yet
hopefully this morning. Will post pics at the weekend.

Just a note on the AK74........
Im not an AK lover in fact I dont actually like them
but they are a must for a collector.

The Kalash AK74 is an incredible piece of Kit for the cheap price you pay for it!!!!
I honestly was not expecting it to be as good as it is!!!!!

Everyone in work that picked it up said WOW thats heavy and NONE were
ready for the weight of it they all expected it to be light and toylike it
was funny to watch it as they picked it up.

Real wood hand grip. (Cheap crude wood just like the real thing!)
Battery compartment that is hinged and at a push of a button flips up for ultra quick installation. High quality finish on the paintwork. Solid metal stock.

There were BB's in the mag and the stick battery was fully charged and
the rate of fire is good too.

The Sling it fantastic solid and sturdy.

Fire select is a little loose and the pin that holds the back iron sight tends
to slip out which causes a risk of loosing the spring/plate that under the site
    that holds everything snug.

The Magazine is the only bad point its Horrifically sh1te looking so hopefully I can
get something better looking for it.

You're going to enjoy that KAR98. I played with one in-store the other week and it is just a joy to behold! Only for the fact I want a Garand more I'd own one already :pac:

It's an AK74, so you get AK74 mags.

Just don't use 47 mags with it

Its in my hands now but cant take it out in work to test it
as there are too many managers about the office at the moment.

There is some damage to the wood!
There are 3 BB dents/marks as if someone shot the wood with a BB.
I'd say the weight of the wood leaned on some stray BB's during transport
and it damaged it. But no worries it adds character to it.
    Cool looking and feeling!!!

Will take pics of both bits of kit at the weekend and post on the reviews thread.

I was also very impressed with that even though i dont like AKs at all. the metal body is what makes it i think, when you close the stock and it makes that metal "clink", like the cocking lever too, the wood is a nice touch over a lot of the other AKs but i especially liked the way the battery cover was spring loaded and has enough room for a 9.6 or even a 10.8 if you were that mad.,:)

like you said too, i think the mag is the only thing i could be picky about, it looks like something from a pound shop.,

I had to agree with the magazine sentiments - horrid looking bright orange pos. (I assume you mean these ones):)

That was until I saw The 9th Company at the weekend. Great film and WTF! - poxy looking orange mags !!
    http://www.forumeter.com/video/25771/APOCALYPTICA-feat-9th-COMPANY

mmmmm, I love orange cheapo mags now - gotta get me an AK, especially with the poxy mags. They look class:D

does a leopard change it's spots? Well, if he comes from the Bog in Kildare, and the price is right - he sure does:p

Get me one Tony!! (you know it will actually be 2 or 3...):D

Sorry Sam...its still out of stock with the supplier. I don't know if it'll be back in stock before the order ships.

Ok, are there any chronos available? approx 50-70€ price?

Actually is it the folding stock model only out of stock? The supplier doesn't have the much rumored wood stock, in stock do they?

The only one of the range available is the AKS74 you saw when you were out here.

The chronos are available, but the shipment has been paid for so they wont be on this delivery. I'll be placing an order next week, so I'll get a couple then if you still want them.

Well, one should do me :D

That was the black plastic furnitured one upstairs then, Id love to have been able to take it, but I was dead set on the wood grip model.

Yeah I'll take a chrono then too.

Yeah, but I'm having email trouble at the minute.
Kalash is going today. Any AK74 mags will fit it, as far as I know.
