I also Kinda want the L96 but would prefer OD colour,
I may save for that unless an SL8 comes in first.
Its a toss up between the VSR Gspec or L96 dunno whats
better. (Future order though not a tonight order)

And I'm after one of those fancy M4 mag lookalike speed loaders
I was eyeing them up on RSOV for ages. and some various other things.

Just wondering what are the specs on the L96, fps and weight wise. I know the GSpec is a little over 2kgs.

Is the L96 louder than the GSpec?

Also are you going to stock any bi-pods for them.

I'm torn between the two rifles but I'm leaning towards the L96.

I'm in the exact same boat myself.

I like the looks of the L96 better and want it for my collection Looks/feel/collection wise but for backyard plinking the Gspec is
cheaper, and maybe quiter. I would like to know which is more accurate
stock wise and also the noise levels of both. Which is louder?

I may wait till the toys for big boys if I can get up to maybe
chat to Shiva about the two before I decide to buy.

If I could get a legal Star L96 that would be my Must have!
But have not seen any.

Noise wise, they're both about the same, but the G-Spec is quieter when you attach the silencer. The L96 weighs about 3 K, give or take, and shoots at about 280fps. The G-Spec is about 275-280

And yeah, I'll be getting some bipods.
