Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Nokia 6280 in need of firmware upgrade

    I have a nokia 6280 on three, and its version 3.81 which according to a lot of online forums is a really buggy software version. This phone is essential to work and so cannot be down for more than a day, where can i go to get a firmware upgrade ? , three are still using the old firmware on their phones, ive had the phone replaced once last month and there still using the old firmware

    yeah, it doesnt support the 6280

    firmware for 6280 is at least version 6.x now.

    I would contact the MPRC / Sigma and ask if they will install generic software on the phone for you. You will lose the Planet 3 icon, but can save the 3 theme and bookmarks with PC suite to restore after upgrade. If they would, warranty is not voided
    Failing that, if the phone is constantly faulty, look for a different phone.
    Failing that call into any unlocking shop and they will upgrade to generic firmware, but your warranty will be voided
    Failing that, think about this. The Nokia 6280 and Nokia 6288 have the same firmware. If NSU identifies your phone as a 6288, it would upgrade the firmware.
