Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The 3 and O2 modems that allow internet anywhere and everywhere.
Are they new, cause im just hearing alot about them now,

can someone please point me to a thread [if there is one] about those
and tell me what the up and down speed is. As well what areas in ireland would receive maximum and minimum coverage, [i assume less reception == less speed]

check on the pda forum for more too. http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=624

www.siteviewer.ie lists mobile phone masts to see if you are near one and if its 3G or whatnot

yeah less reception = less speed BUT
type of signal is important HSDPA can give a 3.6Mb connection other wise you might be going at dial up speeds.

also over selling / numbers of people connecting to the same mast as you , conntenion is a problem , but unlike cable operators , the networks have no control over who uses when, ( as if they would up grade cells )
