Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. I was just going through the some 4000 odd songs I have on my mp3 player last night and found an old Bellefire song (I think their only "hit", Perfect Bliss). Have no idea where it came from, and as a straight male, I don't think I should like it as much as I do, but there you go, I'm not ashamed (well maybe a little)

So, what's your most embarrassing song?

My apologies in advance. :( We got the beat by the Go-Go's. Plenty of Rick Astley, Human League and Go West stuff on there too, pretty much anything from the 80s.

I've got Tatu's whole album :o 200km/h in the fast lane I think it's called

I think I've got a Jamelia song in there and some Britney spears.

My excuse? Women being present in my car and I was sick of the complaining about my choice in music being crap

i was flicking through my friends (who is a complete classic rock/metal head) most listened to tracks on his mp3 and stumbled on deeply dippy by right said fred! cue an awkward attempt at making up an excuse before giving up in embarrassment

as for me, panic by frank sidebottom

Hey I think that Bellefire song is a great song, brilliant production, classic change of key. Very un-girl/boy band style really.

    Ok fess up time.
I found 'Ariel' by Dean Friedman deep in the bowels of my mp3 player hd. I'm thinking it must have got there from one of those free sunday newspaper cd's. Or that's my excuse anyhow!

The Isley Brothers are not embarrassing. If a girl not impressed that you're listening to the Isley Brothers, don't bother even trying. And the Go-Gos are cool as well.
I can only think of one track I'm embarrassed by...Jessica Simpson's "I Think I'm in Love". It's the one that sampled "Jack and Diane" and I think it's a pretty clever bit of pop music.
Otherwise, my MP3 player is full of anything from Strauss to Supergrass and Bach to Sebastian Bach (and it's full of cartoon themes like Underdog, Roger Ramjet, Dangermouse and Huckleberry Hound).
No point being embarrassed unless you like mostly crap music. An odd guilty pleasure is no harm. I'm away to listen to the dance remix of Rhubarb and Custard:D
