Gah! O2 network down?

No service on any phone. Anyone getting anything on O2?

Yeah its down in some parts of Dublin, just rang 1909 and they have a recoreded message about it

Did u try to make a call? People in here have full service but cant make calls. My phones just say no serivce.

had the same problem but the network seems to be back. Think I heard someone saying that there was a fault in the dublin/wicklow area.

just made a call all ok in north dublin near the airport

I'm in Dublin city and I had no network access. Turned the phone off and back on and it's grand now.

My phone is fine now but ive had that the last two Friday evenings.

O2 are trying to stop my social life :O

apparently there is an issue with 2g. 3g and broadband services should be fine. Ive heard its affecting city centre and wicklow also.

Just to advise with the adverse weather conditions Dublin is experiencing lately o2 customers may experience coverage issues in the following South Dublin areas:

Blackrock

Bewleys

Galloping

Clonskeagh

Leopardstow R.C.

Leopardstown RC D.

Donnybrook Gda

Marley

Belmonth

Burton Hall

We are of course working on this and hope to get is resolved as soon as possible, o2 apologises for any inconvenience his causes.

So, who wants this moved to the Dublin forum?:p

IF you ring 1909 and then hang up the signal seems to come back. Jsut got a load of messages through.

It couldn't be just O2. I'm having trouble getting through to a several people on different networks in South Dublin. Very annoying, we're trying to organise birthday celebrations.
