Folks, just a heads up in the event you are not aware a truck overturned on the inbound carriage way of the N20 Southern Ring Road about 2 miles outside Limerick this morning at the Doradoyle interchange. The inbound carriage way is closed to traffic completely and traffic is being diverted through Raheen/Doradoyle while the truck is being removed. Traffic is also restricted to one lane on the outbound carriage way.

Had a look out the window at work about 5 mins ago and traffic is completely at a standstill, it is bumper to bumper for as far as I can see. According to the radio there is a tail back as far as Adare village which is about 10 miles outside the city. Heavy rain and Friday afternoon rush hour are not helping matters either. So anyone approaching from Cork, Tralee, Killarney or trying to travel from the south of the city to the north be aware.
