Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm doing a bit of head scratching here trying to figure out if it is possible to transfer text messages and calendar items from one phone (Nokia 6020) to another (Nokia 6300)?

Is there any way of transferring them via SIM card? I can't do it via Bluetooth as the 6020 doesn't have it, no IR port or cables either.

the only way i know of doing it is to connect the 6020 to a computer and do a backup using the pc suite, then restore the backup to the 6300.

it doesn't always work though. the phnoes will have to be compatible.

Yeah, that's what I was afraid of.

Ironically, the new phone has software in it to transfer the settings to another phone, without the SIM card - exactly what I need on the old phone. Ah well.

I have to say, the 6300 is one sleek phone, very impressed with it. Pity it's Mrs. Dunne's and not mine. :)

That transfer software will work over infra red.. put a spare sim in to your old phone and run the transfer program in the new phone..
