Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I am running MS vista basic and am trying to use a Dell 725 printer. When I turn the printer on I get this error message from Vista. When I try to go online it tells me it has closed the program down. Before I go online to try and find the answer has anyone here come across this problem

    Thanks

Try installing the latest drivers for your printer or run Windows Update [express] to check for software updates.

Have a Dell 720 at home. I was able to print across the network perfectly on an XP client and that was using the driver that came with the XP machine.

I think my problem lies with the printer. As I tried it with another machine and while I didnt get the same error message(as the second machine runs XP) the printer still refused to print. Not so bad as its still in warranty

    Thanks anyway

Usually an incompatible driver or possibly with the extra programs that most printer manufacturers try and install these days.

Uninstall the printer, disconnect it, reboot the computer then plug it back in.

Let Vista install the drivers automatically.
