Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Need a new phone - what to buy???

I've had my Siemens phone for 3 1/2 years now and it never let me down. However, I've let it down by dropping it once too often and now the internal battery connections are broken which means that any small knock will turn the phone off.

What I liked about this phone was that it has a large screen and easy to use menu system acessible by using a small joystick. Now when I went to see about a replacement, I was told that Siemens don't do phones anymore. When I asked for ideas, the salesguy threw all sorts of flashy coloured bits of plastic at me.

Now what I want from a phone is:
    1. Reliability
    2. Bluetooth
    3. lightweight
    4. Easy to use menu system
    5. Large screen (eyes starting to go and too vain to get glasses)
    6. Must be a new or fairly new model (3G would be a bonus)

While mp3, fm radio, camera, video would be nice, they are not a necessity.

I use the phone for personal use mostly but need it also for work.

While I don't want to pay a fortune for the phone, I'd go up to €200 for one. I'm with O2 by the way and qualify for their silver dicount (which ain't much).

    Advice appreciated.

    I'd go with the k800i. It's a great phone.
