Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

dvd drive wont burn

    my dvd drove that recently stopped working then ideleted the upperfillter and lowerfilter the uninstalled it then installed it wont let me burn a cd or dvd tryed loads or dvds/cds the dvd drive is the one that came with the pc

    D'you get any error preventing burning from starting? or does it burn bad discs?

    which version of windows - try system restore as it's likely to be far far faster than trouble shooting

    any changes to pc recently ?

    scan for viruses/malware

    defrag if it's making coasters

    which software ?
    did you check for updated firmware ( only if all else fails and for known errors - if you try to falsh and your pc is infected you may end up with a dead drive )

    use the manufacturer diags to test the drive / use a program like cd2iso to checck the drive can read disks

    try a different writer app

    it could be media too

    dvd drives have a high failure rate :(

    my dvd drive just wont burn tryed nero 7 trial thing tryed sonic im fed up with it if i ring dell do you think they will fix it
