Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Do the Grouse Grind, its a hike up a mountain in North Van, it is a must. will take u about an hour to do the climb but its so worth it when u see the view. Also there is a bear santuary and lumber shows and other stuff up there if the view is not enough for you!!
Catch the gondola down for 5 dollars (its 30 dollars to get it up!!! - so do the hike instead)

Also all the beaches are excellent there, where i spent a lot of time last year.

Also if your gonna be there for a while do a trip to Whistler, its amazing, about 1.5 hours by bus, spend a couple of nights up there u can. Also Seattle and Victoria on Vancouver Island are both worth a look.

There is tonnes to do, sea wall you can walk all around the city boundary & suburbs. Kitsilano is real laid back area with nice (but busy) beach.

Go to Stanley park just on the edge of the city and check out all of downtown, (avoid the junction around East Hastings and Main - lots of drugies), Gastown is excellent old style of the city and Chinatown is different. Granville has alot of the niteclubs, Denman is the mainly gay area with pink letterboxes and bustops!!

The University is worth a look too UBC, some nice rocky beaches there (most the others are sandy) Also a nude beach there where people openly smoke pot called Wreck beach (its a trek down a mountain of steps though!!).

Really its the best city i've ever been to was there for 3 months and still did not see everything!!!

    Enjoy!!
