nani is just about to make his utd debut for anyone with mutv can't wait to get a good look at him, looks like he'll be switching back n forth with ronaldo

scholes had a scan and has been flown back to manchester sounds very serious:mad::mad:

Having a scan and being sent back does not mean it is incredably serious though.

It is a preseason tour match (last one over there, right?) so if there are any problems it would make no sense in delaying any medical treatment he would be better served getting back at Carrington.

Would like to know what the scans were on though....

As said, the new signings could soften the blow; especially if we get Tevez.

I think Rooney could do a great job in a Scholes-type role. Far better than when he's stuck out on the left anyway IMO.

depends on which role you mean - the original or the current?

The current Scholes role is central midfield, Rooney would be kinda wasted there imo. The original Scholes role, as the withdrawn striker roaming around the pitch, is the exact position Rooney should be playing, and i think that is where we will see more off him, especially if we do sign Tevez.

He played well in central midfield. He looked a little tired, but showed some good class. One of the MUTV presenters loves him, really really rates him, and he didn't do his chances any harm. I think he'll defo make it at a premiership level.
