Gun or Needle?

I have sensitive ears and went looking for titanium earings, to me they looked ugly and the piercers I went to seemed to only want to put titanium bars in my ear lobe?? No studs.

Which is safer for ear lobes a needle or a gun? One guy told me he wouldn't use a gun because it would damage the tissue, but a piercing studio thats been recommended on here said they would do it with a gun?

def use the needle the gun is cheap and easy ad can be done anywhere but there is also a good chace its goin to get infected . also with the needle there might b less pain aswell and the guy usin the needle will know what he is doing aswell .
