    Hi all,
I bought myself a tp-link td-w8910g to replace the old ZyXEL Prestige 623R Router as I need wireless along with the standard RJ45 connection to the desktop.

Would anyone know how to set it up,maybe if someone had the standard BT settings?
I've gone into http://192.168.1.1/ to do the settings but I'm a bit lost with all the jargon?
Have the password for the ISP entered etc but it won't connect to the Web

    Thanks,
    S

    Encapsulation: PPPoE
    Multiplexing: LLC Based
    VPI: 8
    VCI: 35

    Your username@btbb
    password: **********

That should be all you need. Can you connect with Etherenet? Is the wireless built into your laptop / PC or are you using a wireless usb adapter?

I've already set it up as you suggested
    Encapsulation: PPPoE [selected]
    Multiplexing: LLC Based [LLC/SNAP-BRIDGING]
    VPI: 8 [selected]
    VCI: 35 [selected]

Your username@iolbb [this is not btbb on my old ZyXEL router]
    password: **********

    Diagnostics return the following?
    pppoe_8_35_2 Diagnostics

Your modem is capable of testing your DSL connection. The individual tests are listed below. If a test displays a fail status, click "Rerun Diagnostic Tests" at the bottom of this page to make sure the fail status is consistent. If the test continues to fail, click "Help" and follow the troubleshooting procedures.
Test the connection to your local network
Test your ENET(1-4) Connection: PASS Help

Test your Wireless Connection: PASS Help

Test the connection to your DSL service provider
    Test ADSL Synchronization: PASS Help

Test ATM OAM F5 segment ping: F4 FAIL Help

Test ATM OAM F5 end-to-end ping: F4 FAIL Help

Test the connection to your Internet service provider
Test PPP server connection: FAIL Help

Test authentication with ISP: PASS Help

Test the assigned IP address: PASS Help

    Ping default gateway: FAIL Help

Ping primary Domain Name Server: PASS Help

    Thanks,
    s

Sorry for hijacking the thread but would anyone have a spare ZyXEL BT router they may want to sell or better yet give away :D Will pay for postage. My existing one just packed up and I want to replace it with the same one. Cheers.
