Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

question about expansys delivery time

    Hi all,

    maybe wrong forum - feel free to move...

    I suppose a few here have already ordered from expansys. What is your experience regarding delivery times of items not in stock?

    I have placed today my first order there. The product page says
    "Availability: 1-5 In Stock - 1 Day - This product is at our central warehouse and should be shipped in 3 working days" but the order tracking page says "Estimating 7 days".

    What should I trust?
    Any ideas?

    I don't want to scare you but I think for items not in stock it may be difficult to find out exactly how long it will take. I always make sure an item is in stock before I order from expansys because I once had difficulty getting a kit that consisted of a few different items. None of the constituent parts were ever in stock together. My gf ordered a digital camera for her mother before xmas last year and had a torrid time trying to find out when it would actually arrive. After numerous emails and phone calls she eventually cancelled the order and bought elsewhere. Of course they were probably very busy at the time. I'd give them a ring...

    the order tracking system says now "Estimated 3 Days" and the product page itself still "1-5 In Stock - 1 Day" (in stock!).
    if it isn't in stock tomorrow i'll cancel the order i think...

    I have always found them reliable, but I have found the postman less reliable, i'd be more concerned about him...:(
