Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Jersey/Shirt Sponsorship

    Anyone have an idea of how much is the going rate for sponsorship of a football team (such as AUL, LSL, (Dublin based team) etc..) , need to try get a few bob in for our team and seeing as we have a set of kit that doesn't havent have a sponsor on it, it might be a way to get a few bob in.

    We don't need a new kit as we have obtained a set for cheap, so it would be just a case of getting a name printed on them. Do companies usually want a receipt (VAT etc) for sponsorship etc..?

    Well, Boardeaux got kit sponsorship at the price of a brand new 16 (15+gk) jersey kit plus printing costs.

    What I mean is, the company that sponsor us paid for the kit, and our crest and their logo to be printed on each jersey.

    I'm unsure as to the cost of that, but as I recall it was about €600.

    The soccer mod Kdjac will know more about that side of it. He'll probably chime in at some stage.

    Normally just get the invoice addressed to the sponsor. But we have in the past just paid for gear ourselves and the sponsor accepts a letter/receipt from the club. €500 might be a figure to aim for. You could also look for sponsors for the team/club as opposed to jersey sponsor publicised in any club newsletters etc and pic sent to local papers with sponsor sign on front of team?
