Whats the deadline for late entries to this? Playing that freeroll thingy in D1 but I'll play my normal style and bust out early when an outrageus triple barrell bluff doesn't work out allowing me to make it over to the Lukes

is there any sort of a guarantee? id like to play it - but seems like a very strong field, and prob only worth the trip for me if so sort of incentive. (although the sound of nice food is always good)

    Hi all,

We're organising ourselves to travel the country to promote the IPO.

I'm looking for suggestions about which regular weekly tournaments get the most runners.

We'll be accepting cash payments and generally telling players about the event.

Already booked in are all of Vegas Nights tournaments for the first week in September and all of JP Poker's tournaments for the second week. We'll also be in Luke's place a fair bit over the next while with our main promotion day being Sept 15th.

Any suggestions on which tournament would be best in Dublin for tomorrow (Friday night)?....I know the Fitz ran a weekly scalps game that got good numbers but not sure what the turnout is like at the moment

Mods if this does not belong in this thread just let me know and I will gladly start a new thread :)

for numbers you have to hit the SE 50 game on a thursday, or the jackpot 20 game also on a thursday. wait til mid sept maybe to hit the jackpot 20 game when all the students are back up adding value!

My appearance at the €100 FO was short, sharp and quite brutal.

    Shorter and brutaler !
Ran into two flopped diamond flushes in a row on the second level, one I donk called horribly to NFC Rob who bet the exact right amounts to convince me he didn't have it and then next hand Rob raises, a guy who seemed pretty LAG called Hector calls, I reraise with KK and hector calls flop is Kxx all diamonds again Hector instashoves - Hes done this a before with 88 on a Q 10 x flop and while I don't know much about him everything I've seen says so far says call. I guess I'm right to presume that anyone who knows this guy goes broke here too? He has rag rag diamonds and Richie fails miserably to pair the board.

Prolonged cash session ended in tears with a huge omaha pot where I had the nuts on the turn and two callers one who hit is 3 outer.

Didnt really catch a break in this tournament but managed to get 3rd. Myself and NFR split the last longest so we were freerolling at the FT.

The tournie was defo there for the taking as it was a pretty weak FT, but K10 v Q6 no good against NFR for a 40k pot and A5 v K5 no good against Cristy Smith for a 45k pot. I made a bad call against Cristy 4 handed with 108h on J9xx 2 heart board for a 130k pot. I was gone shortly after and Christy and Ektor split it

Tell me about it. he made a couple of sick calls and hit. With blinds at 500/1000 he called about 30k AIPP with K8 and took it down. He then flopped the nuts agaisnt NFR with A2s and took him out

Let me see, flop a set, 2 guys fill straights on the turn against me. Flop top two against top set, flop a set of 5's in a muliway raised pot and get no customers, 77<A10 for a shorty race, K9<J7 for exit. I had to let go of a few hands before the break when one huy came over the top of my opening raises. I tried a resteal that went horribly wrong. nothing to report other than that really. Oh yeah, the breakfast paninis are nice - could have done with a bit of red sauce for them though, the fan of melon makes a nice bit of grub also.

It was K7 vs J9 for your exit - you had 500 left with 200 in pot, I was table CL and decided to raise to 500 and take you on.

You also raised me 40% of your stack preflop only to check in position a 775 board and fold to an all in on turn which I think did the damage

oh jaysus i wasnt saying there was anything wrong with it.

yeah wll i figured you could beat 6 high so decided to check, just in case you were trapping or such - i couldnt even beat a flush draw if you happened to call with one.

    edit - where did u finish>?
