    Has anyone else noticed the amount of flies and spiders recently?

    Flies are driving me mad every time I step outside the door.

    It's the summer, thats when they usually come out, I hate flies myself, bluebottles are disgusting I hate them with a vengeance, I like spiders though because they kill flies

    My dog has made me notice the amount of flies about. She runs about shaking her head when she sees one. I think she is afraid it will enter her ear :rolleyes: If I manage to swat it she jumps on it and eats :eek: it.

    Is there a way to put them off coming into the house ?
    I have to leave my door open because of my dog but is there anything they dont like ?
