Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can't get GPS to work on HP iPAQ hw6915

Can't get GPS to work on my HP iPAQ hw6915. I downloaded my one free map (London was my only choice). But before I buy an Irish map I want to make sure it works. Problem is when I open up the GPS Application it just says searching for GPS device, but never finds one! Is this available in Ireland? Do I need to switch something on, or register at a site? Do you have to have the maps installed first? Any help is appreciated!

Does it not have a GPS util which shows you have many satellites it can see?

If you google you will find a number of free utils that will display the status of the gps, hopefully it appears as a standard com port, if it does any of these should work.

Bear in mind some devices can take 20-30 mins to get a first fix, you also need to do it outdoors with a clear view of the sky
