Anyone heard of Rural Services broadband

    I live in a small village in the sticks that has no broadband.I use the internet alot and have some rather large bills from dial up so i have been thing of getting in satellite bb. iv have noticed this company that claim to be in ireland, but i have not heard of anyone that uses them and they are not in the list of service providers on other sites. can anyone help me get a solution to my probleum and has anyone heard of this croud and what do yous think there site is http://www.ruralservice.net/

    Its in Ireland but not in the least rural, see .

    the satellite ain't here neither .... nor do they really mention that they are one way so you need a phone line and flat rate package .

    I would avoid till they are known a bit better, these one way sat operations come and go a lot . Read this thread

    If you are stuck on dial up have you tried the Eircom anytime package 150 hours for 29.99 a month. I presume some of the other isps offer similar packages?

    SkyDSL are a much better known provider and aren't all that expensive.
