    The much anticipated 2007 Streetballireland.com All Star game is confirmed this year for Saturday the 11th of August in the Oblates Sports Complex at 6pm. Already confirmed for the game as most of last years stars such as Jermaine Turner, Big Shane, Conor Ahenert, Ian O' Boyle, Luke o Hea, Scott Summersgill, Niall and Dave Murphy and Phil Taylor. Returning from 2005's game are Isaac Westbrooks, John Behan, Paul Cummings and Mark Reynolds. 2007 will also see the intorduction of some new talent; UCD Marians Conor Meany will be taking part along with Scott Kinnivine, Rob McMurran,Ciaran White and fresh from his first professional season in Germany Colin O'Reilly. also featuring for the first time in ireland the www.streetballextreme.co.uk ballers. The game will be again preceeded by the National Slam Dunk Championships where 2005 champion Paul Cummings will battle 2006 Champion Jermaine Turner A.K.A Superman. The game will feature a half time two ball battle where a male contestent teams up with a female teammate in a 2 min. shootout. This year the game will again feature commentary and also a live DJ and half time preformers courtsey of Rap Ireland. The game is kindly supported for the third year running by AND1 Ireland ( www.and1.ie) and will again be in aid of Brainwave, the Irish Epilepsy Association ( www.epilepsy.ie) this years aim is to raisea minimum 1000 euro.
