Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I was under the impression that a top hat is only part of morning dress
and to wear it as part of one's evening attire is poor etiquette. ;)

I work with "Formal Hire" - Morning/Evening/Highland Wear.

    Top Hats NEVER look good.

Dont try to be different with a tophat, chances are it will just attract the wrong sort of attention.

If your buying one, they can be hugely expensive, and if renting one, again, if damaged, it can be hugely expensive.

    So I would say nay.

If you need further proof of why NOT to wear one, just watch Dumb and Dumber.

No way!! Pure tacky... as are canes and that gobsh*te that turns up in a cream/white suit. Keep it simple, you won't regret that.
