Possible NCT prob.

    I've got my NCT this week,problem is, when I turn on my side lights it brings on a clear light and an orange light,which is the indicator lamp.The car is an imported civic 00.Anyone see this being a failure....?

    Have a look at www.ncts.ie, I think they have a list of everything they check. I'd bring it to an auto electrician anyway, regardless of the NCT it doesn't sound like a healthy state of affairs.

    Cheers for the link,I dont think there's anything wrong,when I indicate the orange side light becomes the indicator,but I still have the clear side light aswell,

    I don't think that's a failure - I've seen a lot of cars with that (usually imports though). I think they should consider them daylight running lights which can be safely ignored for the NCT.
